Play Fearless is a community for athletes, coaches and teams anywhere in their career, anywhere in the world.
Developed by one of Australia’s most-renowned performance coaches, Dan Haesler, Play Fearless provides athletes, coaches, teams as well as their support networks (parents & partners) with access to the tools and techniques he uses with the elite to develop their mindset, mental skills and overall performance.
Ask any professional coach or athlete how important the Mental Game is and they’ll likely answer in one word: “Very.”
In many cases they’ll tell you it’s the difference between the good and the great.
Yet, despite their importance, Mental Skills rarely feature in a High Performance program in the manner that technical, tactical or physical aspects of performance do.
This is especially true in the case of younger athletes progressing their careers through school, college or pathways programs.
The Play Fearless platform seeks to support athletes and coaches to redress this imbalance.
Available anywhere, anytime, online, on Apple & Android.
“If you’re looking to take your game – or an athlete or team – to the next level, you’re going to need a mental game to take them there.”

Coaches Corner will offer learning, reflection and collegiality for coaches interested in refining their craft. Together we’ll explore topics of motivation, mindset and metal skills and it will bring together the leading research around these concepts with the strategies Dan has tried and tested with athletes and coaches who are in the arena.
Coaches Corner will also explore coaching considerations when working with different population groups to take into account concepts of cultural, social or generational significance.
Parent Points is designed to help parents of emerging athletes explore the concepts covered in Play Fearless so they gain insights into how they might best support their athletes. Parents will be provided with suggested frameworks around conversations and feedback as well as suggestions of what not to do.
Dan has worked with members of the Australian Olympic and Commonwealth Games Teams, as well as athletes from a wide variety of sports.
He is regularly engaged by the Australian Institute of Sport to work with athletes, coaches and their family & friends ahead of major events.
